04 May 07 - 11:19 AM (#2043230) Subject: BS: Mudcat replaces Imus From: M.Ted Yes--it's true! This morning, in the spot on MSNBC where the I-Man once sat, was noted policital consultantDavid"Mudcat"Saunders. He was a smarmy sidekick to the even more Tucker Carlson. This all part of a rotating scheme that has put a variety of political talk show types in the old Imus MSNBC time slot, in the vain hope that someone will actually like it. "Mudcat", has a knack for outrageous remarks--he said this about Virginia's anti-gay marriage amendment : "I think it's blasphemy to put this on the ballot and try to divide God's children for political gain. God loves them queers every bit that he loves the Republicans. " Still, he's just another phoney talking head--spinning whatever the day's spin assignment is--Imus was a real guy who said real things(some of which were, admittedly, a bit embarassing to hear) and managed to get politicians, journalists, and other media types to say real things-- Still, this current arrangement is more just;-) |
