A well respected performer of 30 years experience, Roy sings trad and self-penned songs, many of a maritime theme, or about the history, life and times of his native Cheshire, all this accompanied by skillful concertina or guitar work. A regular at festivals and clubs both here and the US, he's well worth seeing. There'll be a few opportunities to get yer gob around a chorus also! Great performer, friendly crowd, free grub, cheap bar, crap night on telly, so get yerself down to the club. Kick-off 8.30. Admission £4 non-members, all welcome as ever. Regards Andy |

He also sang a couple of songs. Afterwards a lady came up and complimented him on his voice and the sensitivity and feeling he put into his singing. She was right. Kiveton Park club(a great one with many happy memories for me)is in for a treat. Burl. |
