21 May 07 - 11:05 AM (#2057685) Subject: RE: Peter Hicks Celebration of his life 29 May 2007 1p From: Richard Bridge Hi Val. People keep asking me (I think I've been asked four times now) what time is it likely to get back to the pub? It's not that people don't want to go Godly, or to the crem, but people are worried about if they can get the afternoon off and whether it will be OK to come when they can... I have been telling them to come when they can, but I'm not sure they believe me. |

Sending you lots of love and hope to get to the Church in time.. Will leave Chippenham early on Tuesday morning but have to drop off caravan & who knows with traffic 'n'all. Having made a bell gaff in the Cathedral on Pete's behalf already - is it Kit with bells or do we have to silence them in the church.... can't imagine it really ! Come to think of it - can't imagine we'll all get in the church anyway. If the traffic defeats us we'll be thinking of you and there a.s.a.p. after. Lots of love xxxx Lisa & Rob xxxx |

I know Pete and you were perfectly matched (I think the pair of you are unique) and he will be sorely missed. I have a few photographs of some crazy morris-type people from Rushbearing.... I don't think I will be singing with my voice, but there will be a fair bit of dancing, should you so desire and have a big hug and a hanky ready for you. Thinking of you, Tamsin and Charlotte. See you all in Upper Stoke- it is not big enough to get lost in! Di xxx |
