Hello to all my old friends at Mudcat. If anyone wants to see our garden and house its in this months issue of " Better Homes And Garden's " " Country Garden " . I had so much fun getting ready for this shoot. My wife Erica did so most of the work really .
Off to the plane..... I am away to Gerten's Nursery in Grove Heights Min. this weekend if anyone wants to play music in the Minniapolis area..

My cousin in the Shenandoah Valley called (many years ago) to ask if I would send her copies of Southern Living because her garden was featured in it and all the local copies were sold out. I picked up the magazines for her and realized that the garden had been photographed by an acquaintance I hadn't heard from in years. Small world!

My garden is due to be photographed for Benign Neglect Quarterly soon. :)

Guy, if that's the May issue, all that I found in the stores was June. Which is it?

Barbara,

It is a one of BH&G's 'special' publications-comes out 2 or 3 times a year. It is called 'Country Gardens' and is the Summer, 2007 edition. It is on the newstands now.

What a lovely garden, Guy. Hats off to the Missus and you!

I had the most wonderful weekend making pots in Minnasota near St Paul .. We made $3,700.00 for the kids cancer unit of the Twin City hospitol . I did a visit to a great Radio show and then Tv spot as well .. Lots of fun .. Three weeks ago I made pots in North Carolina and we made $4000.00 for the Susan G Koman breast cancer fund.. Its great going out to show pottery making but it is so much kooler if you can do some good at the same time ..
I hope you all get a chance to see Erica's hard work and what our house looks like..
All the very best to all here, Guy

They've got some great garden plans on this page.

Guy, that is so great of you to do that for charity and such good causes, too. Thanks for who you are and thanks to your family, too.

OK, Guy, you're on notice. You're not allowed to go to the halfway across the country without posting notice and letting Mudcatters fete you.

You've gotten away with it this time, but I'm making an example of you so that no one else dares try it.

Dani in NC (with banjo and a porch to go with it)

Darn ,Dani I would have loved the visit . I will be more up front on travel plans .. I have had so many great meetings with other mucians because of Mudcat ( ducks included) . I have missed Max three years in a row with Winterthur in Deliware and I hope to rectify that this year. ha
