My favorite traditional one-line is:
Ain't it hard to stumble when you got no place to fall

AFA more modern folk music, Greg Brown's:
Singing rooty toot for the moon

All the world would be one religion

and

All living things would cease to die

both from the song

I live not where I love.

I'll tell you the tale of the good ship 'Araldite', stuck fast in Plymouth Sound...

LTS

(For those too young or too American to remember, Araldite was the strongest glue before superglue appeared. You had two tubes, one of adhesive and one of catalyst - you had to mix the two on a tin lid or something, apply it and press the two bits together before it all set rock hard. Great for mending flowerpots, bit too much for sticking people to toilet seats)

When we first landed on the Moon I still remember singing to myself the great tune by Hank Williams "I'll Never Get Out of this World Alive".

"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when I'm perfect in every way........"

My ex-husband used to go round singing it - really! Quite turned me off it for a while, but I think it's funny now.
