I live in N Liverpool and have looked in vain for regular ceilidhs/barn dances round here. The nearest regular ones seem to be in Manchester, only bimonthly. Anywhere in S Lancs or N Cheshire would do.

I suspect any that do run are about to take a break while people go to festivals - plenty of ceilidhs there!

Steve, The only regular ones I know of are The Phoenix Ceilidhs nr Horwich. They are finished for now, but the next one is Friday 12th October 2007, 8pm with "All Blacked Up" Caller: Baz Parkes.
