And I had to say "Nope; sorry". She's not a beginner, but has been learning under a more classically-oriented tutor who is moving out of the area, and she'd like to learn folk style. You can order them via the website: www.ydw.org.uk and follow the link for the on-line sale. Matt Crannitch has one and there are many others. As they have recordings available, you don't NEED to read music... But that is available if you need it. .... And play with others as often as possible, especially if they are encouraging and sympathetic..... Lady N |
