13 Jun 07 - 05:19 PM (#2076173) Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 'All About You' From: Jim Dixon I TOLD THEM ALL ABOUT YOU was written by Cliff Friend. It's been recorded by David Houston, Lulu Belle and Scotty, Donald Peers, Hank Penny & His Radio Cowboys, The Sons of the Pioneers, and Cindy Woolf. The Doc Watson – David Grisman version was recorded under the title ALL ABOUT YOU and mistakenly called "traditional" but it's the same song. Several versions are discussed in this thread: Lyr Req: I Told Them All about You (Cliff Friend). |
