I'm Tall Ships Sailing in June, and I know that the music will flow fast and furious - anybody know of any sites where there are sea songs, shanty words and midi's? I want to be well prepared for this one!

Ta loves,

Mo

I found these yesterday. Not all chanteys, but a vast collection. Click here for a German-american collection of MIDI files.
Here is the Contemplator Folk MIDI site.
Here's one more. And Barry Taylor.
Here's the most comprehensive index I've seen: Standard MIDI Files on the Net.

Gosh, Joe. Those are great sites! Thanks. I x'ed out of the downloading part and have not been able to bring back up the midi part. Hope that will right itself later. Signed, computer illiterate.

Joe, you are fantastic! I'm already familiar with (and very fond of) the German site you mentioned, and I just can't wait to go and frolic through the others.

You da man!
