I-Pods, I-Trips Which?

I have used a Griffin Road Trip with my I-Pod for about a year. It has just given up or perhaps the cigar lighter has given up. The cigar lighter gets hot but not a lot.

Any recomendations for an I-trip? I'd prefer one that charges as it goes from the cogar lighter.

My iTrip sits on the top of the iPod and that is the only connection. It doesn't plug into a cigar lighter or anything else as it doesn't need charging. The box describes it as an FM transmitter powered by the iPod. Hope that helps.

Thanks cath, I have looked at them they seem like a good idea, They advantage of the plug is that it charges the pod as it goes rather than running the pod battery down

The only problem I've found is that if you are on a longish journey you find that you need to change the frequency that you are tuned to as local stations can get in the way.

mine's the same. And changing frequencies on long journies can be a pain, but its great otherwise. And they're legal now, so you can get hold of them much easier.
