Tech: Does anyone use Google Analytics?

I'm starting to install the code on my web pages, and I'm wondering whether anyone uses it and how they find it. I don't use any tracking SW at present--I tried 3 different freebie trackers over the years but they all went out of business. I'm hoping Google lasts a little longer :)

Thanks, Don

I've used Statcounter for a couple of years and it seems to work pretty well.

I've used Google Analytics to monitor a site I run, for about a year now and found it very helpful. The interface is in transition to a new format at the moment - And I'm not sure I like the new one. Probably just the effect of creeping old age....

Regards

View source - for Mudcat - follow the root-links - and see how Max and Google are in concert....lots of wonderful tools MC only uses ... at need.

YIPES.... this is NOT to say Google Type technology was not used on Mudcatbefore.....IT IS THERE, IT IS HERE, it has been available for more than a decade....Google is convenience-packaging stuff that is "shareware" from old PC-Mag disks and links.

The stuff is still free and there....just not Google-ized....like frozen french-fries or fresh Idaho Spud Slices.

Sincerely,
Gargoyle
