18 Jun 07 - 11:12 AM (#2079958) Subject: RE: Happy Anniversary MudGather (Sept. 7/PA) From: wysiwyg Oh and I forgot a detail, probably several, but this one for sure: BYO table service. If you aren't "from here," you may not know this one, but people here taught us this tradition: Nobody wants to do dishes or throw out mounds of paper or plastic. BYO plate, cup, and silverware to wash in the handy, well-equipped parish kitchen, or take it home dirty to wash it later! (Of course the first 20 people staying with us can grab a prison tray out of our pantry to tote along, and we probably have enough silver, too.) Mmario-- pssst! You may end up officiating. :~) ~S~ |

24 Jun 07 - 11:44 PM (#2086092) Subject: RE: Happy Anniversary MudGather (Sept. 7/PA) From: SharonA Awwww, how sweet! Congratulations and best wishes, Susan and Hardi! Which number wedding anniversary will it be? Wish I didn't have to be home for a gig the following day and another one the day after that. I have a feeling that one or the other band is going to want to have a last-minute rehearsal on the 7th, too! But I'll do a dance under the same stars that evening in your honor. Hmmm... Should those of us who can't make it be sending music for the boombox portion of the festivities? |
