From: Bill Hahn//\\

On Sunday June 24 I will be presenting the first of a 2 part interview with http://clayeals.com
about his book on the life of STEVE GOODMAN. That will be on TRADITIONS on WFDU. Some of the insights and anecdotes are priceless and the book is a wonderful read. Steve Goodman will once again live in your mind.

A lot of music by Steve and his compatriots---including John Prine will be featured.

Part 2 will air on July 1.

You can find out more on my site which is http://billhahnprogramnotes.blogspot.com

Hope you can join us. If you cannot this interview will be archived and can be heard on CLAY EALS website after it airs.

TRADITIONS airs from 3-6 PM and streams on the web.

I guess making links has a few bugs for me----the Clay Eals site is correct but the sentence was supposed to have his name and then you could click on it----CLAY EALS.

Clay was at the WGN studios in Chicago a week or so ago, and the Cubs were playing a game somewhere. As will happen, the heavens opened up on the ball game, and there was a nice long rain delay. Steve Cochran, at the station, needed someone for an instant interview and, lo and behold, there was Clay!!! I emailed Clay to see how the hell that happened so serendipitously?? (I figured he'd seeded the clouds or something.) ---- Some things do happen perfectly, do they not!?
