Matt's production has gotten sharper, and he skillfully blends a wide variety of sounds including worded vocals, wordless vocals, violins, guitars, basses & synthesizers (plus a few sounds I can't quite figure out) into a delicate mix of acoustic bliss and melancholic folk music, similar to some of Mogwai's earlier albums."
