Folk Garden Party (Kent)-13th July

As nobody's mentioned it yet, I thought I'd get my two penn'orth in and let people know about it.

The Rising Sun at Twitton Lane, Otford in Kent (home of the Travellers' Rest Folk Club) is holding its annual Folk Garden Party on the afternoon of 13th July, 2007.

A beautiful setting, good beer, good music, PA provided for performers, a friendly atmosphere and, if last year's anything to go by, some sort of barbeque.

I think it starts at about one. Ruff 'n' Reddy intend to be there. Anyone else interested?

I understood from Pam and Jon that there's no hogroast this year. New format is a singaround and ploughman's. See you there folks.
