Next month i have to go to China for a business trip, it is the first time i have been to China, i am accompanying a Spanish colleague, now here is the problem, my colleague holds a Spanish passport, non biometric, he has been told he cannot gain entry on his passport, so he is changing it,,,, do the same rules apply for me with my British non biometric passport,,, i have tried embassies, cant get hold of anyone, the passport office doesnt know,,, can anyone help me please... |

I have sent at least 10 emails to various depatments to both the chinese embassy in London and the British embassy in Beijing,,, with absolutely no response. ARRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH |

I live close to Manchester so simply visited the Embassy there in person and obtained my Visa. I have a friend currently working as an English teacher in China, I can ask for her advice if you have no further success. |
