There is streaming audio available while the show is on air or you can listen online after the broadcast, or download the programme and listen at your leisure. The shows are only available for a couple of weeks after they are broadcast. This Monday there will be a physiotherapist, who is a former musician, and who specialises in injuries which musicians tend to get. I cannot remember the man's name, but the programme should be available within a couple of days after the broadcast: Listen to the broadcast here I can highly recommend listening to the show, any time, because Margaret is one of the best interviewers I have heard and is a wiz at drawing out people's life stories within an hour. Also, all of her guests choose a few pieces of music, and explain why each piece is important to them just before it is played. In the last 2 weeks I have listened to these: Thursday 19 July 2007 Lex Lasry QC (repeat) Lawyer [works against the death penalty] Wednesday 18 Lincoln Hall II (repeat) Mountaineer [was left for dead on Mt Everest but survived] Tuesday 17 Jonathon Welch Founder of The Choir of Hard Knocks [this choir is incredible] Monday 16 John McDonald Art Critic Friday 13 Nicolas Rothwell (repeat) Senior Writer for The Australia Thursday 12 Tony Kevin Author Wednesday 11 Dr. Colin Wastell Psychology Department, Macquarie University [specialises in trauma counselling and post-traumatic stress disorder] | Tuesday 10 Alexis Wright Author Monday 9 Polly Vacher (repeat) Aviator [she's about 80 yrs old - still flying] Friday 6 Dr. Anita Heiss (repeat) Writer, poet, activist, social commentator and academic [Indigenous Australian] Helen |
