Is a tirade like lemonade but made from Tires?

Nope, it's a new benefit concert arranged by Willie Nelson for down & out NASCAR racers.

"Why tea on anyone's tirade?"

Because it's scalding hot and it shuts the guy up while he tends to his second degree burns.

Why tea or anyone's tirade?

First, you have to define tea in the over-the-pond sense, as a small meal involving (we hope) tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes. Oh, and tea to drink.

When someone is delivering a tirade, serve a tea and sweeten their disposition.

(Did anybody notice the little boy's tea in 'Secret of Roan Inish' which consisted of kelp and raw seafood?)

And they say that America has no sense of irony!

A grenade exploded near my leg and now it's very irony.

My linen trousers definitely need to be more irony.

I used to have a 40 a day habit with ironing. A few years ago I decided it was bad for my health, so I gave it up. At the same time I gave up bad habits like linen trousers. Much too irony.

With careful management, I usually manage to avoid being a passive ironer too. The last time I checked my iron out, ants had made a nest in it (true!) Can't possibly use it now.
