First, you have to define tea in the over-the-pond sense, as a small meal involving (we hope) tasty sandwiches and delicious cakes. Oh, and tea to drink. When someone is delivering a tirade, serve a tea and sweeten their disposition. (Did anybody notice the little boy's tea in 'Secret of Roan Inish' which consisted of kelp and raw seafood?) |

07 Aug 07 - 08:36 AM (#2120798) Subject: RE: BS: Why tea on anyone's tirade? From: JennyO I used to have a 40 a day habit with ironing. A few years ago I decided it was bad for my health, so I gave it up. At the same time I gave up bad habits like linen trousers. Much too irony. With careful management, I usually manage to avoid being a passive ironer too. The last time I checked my iron out, ants had made a nest in it (true!) Can't possibly use it now. |
