Without much attention, I suggested a DULCIMER WORKSHOP and/or a 'Songs of Richard and Mimi Farina'.

Here's why -
Bold Marauder - Richard and Mimi Farina

This is the good stuff of my 60's Folk Era. Pete Seeger seems to think so to!

WOW! What a great find! Night Owl has been telling me about them for years. This is the first time I've seen them. I have never felt comfortable using my noters, but I've not seen one held that way before, so I will try it. Thanks so much! IF I make it this year, I would love to go to this kind of workshop.

Two things.....

Kat.....Go to the link thing on the side and there are some other Richard and Mimi things as well, BUT for some reason mine didn't link "Pack Up Your Sorrows" (which is on YouTube).....maybe another of the songs will link there, but go find that one. After getting a bit bored with Richard tuning, the song is still one of his best.

Also, check the side links for the Pat Sky stuff. "Separation Blues" is a classic Pat Sky piece. He is one of my earliest and still preferred folkies.

Mine didn't pick up Pack Up Your Sorrows, either, Spaw, but I did find it. Thanks! He holds his noter the other way in that one! That's one I'll have to learn though, I like it a lot.

I have heard Patrick Sky before, but not seen him. That's a wonderful video of him! Thanks, darlin'!
