Roughly thirty years ago, Steve left the Denby Dale area in West Yorkshire (somewhat abruptly, it has to be said), and moved to the Lincoln area. I have heard nothing of him since - which is a shame, because he wrote some good songs apart from anything else. Clues to his identity? He was an English teacher; he played a Levin acoustic guitar (famously damaged at one point by Bill Nelson); he would be round about sixty now; he recorded an album in the seventies as Chick Shannon and Last Exit. Does anybody know of his whereabouts? It would be cool to catch up with him again... epn |
