Tonight I saw an English concertina and harmonica player,Mick Kinsella,play the two simultaneously on the raw bar programme on rte Irish Television,excellent playing.
I was interested because I too play this unusual combination.Dick Miles

well he played a slow air on his harmonica[very clean playing],very nice tone,and used the English concertina,To play drones and chordal backing.
The harmonica was in a rack,and it looked like a diatonic.
if it was a chromatic,he was playing in its home key,As his hands werenot free to play the slide.
I googled him up,but am going to go back for further info.
