04 Sep 07 - 04:53 PM (#2140878) Subject: RE: Flying Chaucers at The Barge 3rd Sept From: Richard Bridge I am snowed in the office and alas was quite unable to go. Was Jay doing the PA (little hairy dude) and did he get Les's guitar sound right? |

05 Sep 07 - 04:02 PM (#2141792) Subject: RE: Flying Chaucers at The Barge 3rd Sept From: Sarah the flute Yes Jay did our PA and it sounded brilliant!....even Les' guitar and his bazouka ...sorry bazouki ... he even coped with my nifty change from flute to oboe! We are hopeful of making a return trip - we got an encore and people did seem to stick around. Even the smokers came in from the garden and one guy videoed us and then sent it in a message to his mates in South Africa who replied asking what part of Ireland he was in! ...and many thanks to those who like our band name on that other thread. We did think of others related to south london such as Eltham John Catford Stevens Jona Lewisham and Deptford Leppard to name a few! Cheers Sarah |
