In North Cornwall you could pm me and we could arrange something, I have several folkie friends who are keen to sesh at any time! Also contact Hobgoblin at Wadebridge, the chap there may be able to enlighten you Further down, contact local folk club leaders, who usually know whats happening in their neck of the woods. Nice place to stay, too. Wheal Dream near Helston meets on Sunday night 8 p.m. Apparently there's a singers' night, Fridays, at the Bodmin folk club: 8.15 pm at the Barley Sheaf, Lower Bore Street, Bodmin. Also Friday, the Truro Troyle club meets at the Globe, River Street, Truro. And I was referred to www.folknewskernow.co.uk/ as a good source of info. sian |
