Well, if you hadn't given that movie title, I woulda swore you meant the 1952 Irving Berlin song from WHITE CHRISTMAS, "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep." There's a 1944 Cole Porter song from MEXICAN HAYRIDE called 'Count Your Blessings" that goes, "Count your blessings, Count your blessings, Count your blessings, Honey Chile...." Could it be either one of those? -Joe-

There's also a hymn of that title. "When upon life's billows you are tempest-tossed...." and so forth. The refrain is "Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings see what God hath done" and then both lines repeated. It's in a hymnbook called SERVICE SONGS. And probably in many other hymnbooks.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
Reginald Morgan and Edith Temple, c1946

Count your blessings one by one,
When dawn appears and day has just begun.
They will light your heart with happiness,
Make each hour bright and bring you gladness.

Count your blessings one by one,
When twilight falls and toil of day is done,
And in sweet dreams they'll come again to you,
If you will count your blessings each day through.

Count your blessings while you may.
For we are here but little time to stay.
All around are friends, sincere and true.
Lovely things abound, just waiting for you.

Count your blessings while you may,
The big or small, whichever comes your way,
For then you'll find this world a place of love
If you will count your blessings from above.

[Recorded by Josef Locke in 1948, also by Gene Ammons, Holly Cole, Gracie Fields, Aled Jones, The Luton Girls' Choir, and Phillip McCann.

[There is another song called COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS, with words by Edgar A Guest and Irving Caesar and music by Ferde Grofe, published 1933.
First Line: Road may seem endless, and distant the dawn, your life may....
Chorus First Line: Count your blessings, you will find quite a few....]
