The great thing is half-price gigs ! We went to the Big Session at the Arts Centre a year ago. My beloved's ticket cost her £12 ; while mine, as a fully qualified ould git, was a fiver. And as for LtS : stroking an 18 year old pussy - well, chance would be a fine thing. Growing old is mandatory ; growing up is discretionary. Last week I got fed up with waiting in line for the next petrol pump, the furthest away pump was empty being blocked by a car filling up - with me so far - so, I drove round the the other side of the pumps and reversed into the empty space thus avoiding the four cars in the que. I'd seen another 'oldie' do this - brilliant. My 17 year old son sank down in the front seat and said I cant believe you just did that. !!! Great !! Oh before you all start - no I dont make a habit of this sort of thing - not yet, anyway. |
