You can tell somewhat how old it is from the phrase "new repeal beer" but I'd like any additional lyrics anyone knows. Oh, my grampappy's nose is as red as a rose which comes from drinking New Repeal beer Flies follow him where'e'r he goes and roost in the whiskers of his ears. Oh he spits tobacco juice, chompety chomp, chompety chomp and he spatters it around on the floor He will take another chew, chompety comp, pi-too and he hasn't missed a fly in a score. Oh my grampappy's beard is like a berry bush and he wears big patches on his pants. It's a darn good thing that he don't never stoop or grampa would take an awful chance.
