22 Sep 07 - 03:40 AM (#2154771) Subject: Need songs about Christopher Columbus From: Doug Chadwick I'm putting together a 15 minute musical sketch for children (8 to 11 years old) very loosely based on Christopher Columbus. Does anyone have any suggestions for songs? They don't necessarily have to mention him by name but could just be could be about travelling to unknown, distant places and the like. Perhaps the most important thing is that they don't want to be too serious. I've had a look in the DT so there's no need to link to there. Also, does anyone have any good one-liners about old Chris that could be worked into the script? Thanks in anticipation DC |

CD is called "Island with Beautiful Names". I can send a copy of the song if anyone's interested. It's from the perspective of the Native people, and how they embraced their 'brother'.
