26 Sep 07 - 01:54 PM (#2157853) Subject: Cloudstreet tour From: Mark Dowding The Australian duo Cloudstreet are on a tour of the UK at the moment and on Friday 28th Sept will be visiting the village of Parbold in Lancashire. This event is being run by the local community association who haven't really got a clue who they've got which is why I've sold twice as many tickets for it as they have! It's only one of two gigs for them in the Lancashire area so if anyone is interested in seeing Nicole and John please ring Ann on 01257 462176. There isn't a bar but you can bring your own "refreshments". I think tea and coffee will be available. Parbold is HERE in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully I'll see one or two of you there. Great voices great harmonies VERY VERY funy. Oh they are on at THE STAR CLUB St Andrews in the Square Glasgow soon. Id loved to hear them in that venue as the accoustics are fantastic. |

We had a fantastic night - if you haven't seen them and they're in your area go along and have a great night singing along to the songs they do including a great song by El Greko about windmills.
