Are you requesting the lyrics or did you just want to share this with us. If it's the lyrics, do you need help copying them down from the download?

The download is charming and so pure...just what I've always loved about Denver's work. Thanks for letting us know.

Forgot to say, I wonder about the legality of Big O's offering; if Denver's estate knows and minds or not.

I'm sorry but I's just wanting to let you transcribe the lyrics by your ears.

Well, here's what I hear:

Trolley Car Ride
(John Denver)

Trolley car ride on a lazy afternoon,
Up and down and all around the town;
Hangin' on the side, I was havin' so much fun,
I would hate to see the sun go down.

Skippin' school was on my mind,
Better ways to spend my time;
Layin' on a sunny day is such a beautiful way
To pass the time away.
And everything I see looks so wonderful to me,
When I'm ridin' on a trolley car.

Ah...what if it's rainin'?
Ah...what if it's gray?
Ah...can't help believin'
A trolley car ride makes it all OK.
do, do, doo....
do, do, doo....
[whistle]
la ba la ba da ba da..

Ah...don't ya feel happy?
Ah...don't ya feel fine?
Ah...I'd rather be with you
Any old place, any old time.
La da da da da, la da da da da,
When I'm ridin' on a trolley car.

You're on your own with the doo-doos and the la-ba-das
Cute song,eh?
-Joe-

Thanks for posting that link. Those recordings take me back to the first time I saw John Denver in concert, in November 1969 at the Main Point in Bryn Mawr, Pa. It was a truly magical night for a nearly 16-year-old on his first date with his first girlfriend...
