30 Sep 07 - 10:03 PM (#2160814) Subject: RE: BS: In memory of From: SINSULL I saw an interview with Marcel Marceau. I am not a fan of mime. I was fascinated by the intense joy in Marceau's eyes. He was almost childlike in his love of life, his craft and the world in general. |

30 Sep 07 - 10:10 PM (#2160818) Subject: RE: BS: In memory of From: open mike i just saw a preview for a movie which will contain special effects. the actress mentioned that while in acting school there is a chapter where mime is presented and practiced. she advises all actors to take that course, as it encourages the imagination and portrayal of the objects in the imaginary world. The movie she was filming had scenes where imaginary characters were included n the scenes and the actors had to "mime" their characters so that the special effects department could add their images in post - filming. |
