Oh, lordy. I haven't been following this strip; I better go back and do some reading.

Very moving. The subject was handled with dignity and love.

The writer had cancer so he thinks that he knows what it is like to die? And he has the phantom of the opera coming to get her. As a breast cancer survivor who has suffered a recurrence, I hate this comic. Tom has no idea what it feels like to suffer from cancer and die. He should keep his comic funny and light. I hated this and then to culminate it in breast cancer month. I can't think of anything worse.

The only ones who know what it's like to die can't tell us anything. So it's open to interpretation. If even one woman goes and gets checked out then it's worth it.

Horrible, everyone is entitled to their opinion.   From what I've read the response has been postitive to the comic strip. The comic strip deals with the characters interaction with Lisa.   If you were reading the strip, you might have found the recent weeks storyline of dealing with the impending death more important.

I'm truly sorry for your recurrence and I hope that this strip and Awareness Month might work to save lives.

Beautifully done. I feel like I am mourning a real person. I have lost family and frineds to Cancer, and I also have Cancer. I was not offended in the least by the strip - I was touched. Thank you for telling our story.

I'll have to go look it up. I read that one many years ago, but haven't read the funny pages in ages.
