Chorlton Folk Club meets every Thursday at Southwest Manchester Cricket Club, Ellesmere Road, Chorlton Manchester. Last night - 11th that is - was declared an Oxjam Night with all proceeds going to Oxfam. We a night with a difference and experienced the utter joy of at Night at CFC and raised £60 for Oxfam. Two other Folk Oxjams in Chorlton: Tuesday 23 October is a night of wild folk dancing in St Ninians Hall with The Barlow International Folk Dance Group. Saturday 27 October is An evening of Folk Songs and tunes with The Ghyll Head Band, Madcap Ceilidh, Dave Bishop, John Routledge and Olga Adigu |
