I saw them at the old Star Folk Club at the Communist club on the Ringway in Brum. The members of drowsy Maggie used to be resident there - sort of individually, not as Drowsy Maggie. Dave Philips, Mick Hipkess, sometimes Tommy Dempsey...don't remeber Clive there, or the other guitarist ....Pete Something. I bought a guitar case off him. |

I think the lads may even have signed it, but I can't check because it's languishing in LP-No-Man's-Land at the moment, i.e. a giant box of albums I mean to burn to disc Someday. Probably get around to it the minute CDs die and are buried forever. Then I'll have twice as many recordings to convert to a new format. Oh, joy. |
