After heading West from Chicago, in 1967 we opened our FOLK ART SHOP in Depoe Bay, Oregon. We were 10 or 15 years ahead of any real kind of folk scene there. (I guess it's all in the timing! ;-) So I headed back to Chicago, where being a folksinger was at least a possibility. A question: Did I know you in Chi-town? I think I did!?!? But it seemed like the folks in charge of making sure that "us underage folks" weren't allowed in did a wee wink and nod for me.
