25 Oct 07 - 06:21 PM (#2179249) Subject: Folk Dickens 2nd and 4th Thursdays From: Richard Bridge Very nice night tonight, not many singers and players but significantly more punters and the other half of the bar (the restaurant side) quite busy and I heard some diners being very complimentary about the food, so if you are a foodie, come on a folking Thursday, sit the other side and enjoy the food and the wafting music! FIrst time down for John Matthews, and he was in wonder at the acoustics (and some of the harmony bits really did sound nice) |
