my late father used to sing a scottish song, i don't know where he learned it, and sadly ican no longer ask him. it begins:

"if you'd seen me before i got married
you would have said 'there's a man'.
but just like the rest i was captured,
and that's when ma troubles began.
for the boss of the hoose is the missus,
and i sometimes myself have to laugh.
though i'm six foot three
she's the boss over me
and she'sonly four foot and a half.

cos i'm feart for mrs mackay..."

any help with the title, or who wrote/sang this song would be most appreciated. thought it might be harry lauder, not sure tho.

We used to have it on an old Will Fyffe 78 many years ago. Possibly Googling "Will Fyffe" might get you something. Hope that this helps.
