Anyway it's in Lancashire. I don't know about the side being 'conservative' but it has a fine and distinctive style which is a joy to watch when being danced well. The last time I saw it danced well (or at all for that matter) was at the millenium celebrations of the Bacup Britannia Coconut Dancers when all the members and former members gathered together from far flung corners and gave a showing to remember. I hope the tradition continues. |

As t where they are based well, it should be Colne Lancashire but the Leader lives in Bury. Thanks John for the good wishes and everyone else who posted. Colne is in North east Lancashre, Liz and Morticia near Burnley Anyway, does anyone know of anyone who might be interested in joining. I have just come back to the side after 35 years so you see the problem. HELP |

It was either Colne Royal Morris or Grimswitchdyke & District Fluffy Morris - can't remember which. JJ |

Just as there is room for differences of opinion in all walks of life so there be in Morris. If anyone is interested the post here as Galoshin requested. Wincing Devil - in the case of North West Morris it is more likely to Jingle Boom. Clogs and all that. From what I have heard there is soon to be a web presence. |
