Saul Broudy was playing harmonica with Phillips around that time, but didn't record with him. Grosswendt(who I haven't heard in over 30 years)was a great musician who I'm sure has only gotten better over the years. Mark Ross |

I have some prized tapes of Utah and Saul that the late Fred Holstein and I made of their shows at the Earl Of Old Town in Chicago--1972. Actually, that was Utah's second album (but his first on Philo). His first album on Prestige, years before, was "Nobody Knows Me" had such hits as "Yuri Gagarin." |
