Lyr Req: Double-yellow line

Looking for the lyrics to this song, which may have come out whenever the double-yellow lines were introduced in Ireland.

"I'm a law-abiding man and I do the best I can
To abide by all the .... of the law
But it turns me off to see
Crime and violence running free

...for parkin' on a double yellow line."

Thanks in advance, Don

I guess it must have been written in the early 1970s. I heard it about 20 years ago and it's the kind of song that would be sung at sessions, so I'm surprised that it doesn't turn up somewhere on the web. Some other verses went something like this:

You can away with rape
Or your business can escape
With a heap of ... taxes, never paid
You can mug me, steal me dough
.....
With impunity, and never be afraid

Your crime will be found out
Law and order's up the spout
Be careful, you might get a hefty fine
....
....
By parking on a double-yellow line.

Thanks, Don
