A rare visit to Hull by George who is fitting in this Gig before appearing in Whitby at a Charity Fundraising for The Whitby Lifeboats on Saturday 10th November 2007. Whitby Lifeboat Shanty Session This Weekend Saturday 10th November will see Shanty Groups from all over the UK converging on Whitby Friendship Rowing Club to join in celebrations for Captain Ken Stocks as he arrives at his Sixtieth Birthday. What better way to celebrate this landmark birthday is there than to fundraise for a good cause The Whitby Lifeboat's. Expected Guest are Anthony & Angie Maher, Coblers Monday, Gas Stove (Kent), George Clarke , Graham Knights, John & Sue Griffiths, Mike Acott, Capstan Full Strength, Mick Haywood MC, The Foretop Men, The Stocks Family, The event is free you don't need a ticket but funds will be raised and a raffle will take place.
