I'd like some sort of clue as to what will be found at the other end of the clickies. I wouldn't want to waste time watching some US politician, but might click to hear an interesting musician.

What I think is, that when they land on the White House lawn and say "hello", I will take notice.

It's video from the Disclosure Project. It's testimony from a lot of former US military and former US government people who had very high levels of security clearance, about their experiences relating to UFOs and extraterrestrial technology.

I agree. Most fascinating and thought-provoking indeed. In my opinion, we need to keep an open mind on this subject, not dismiss it out of hand.Lots of INDEPENDENT research is required. Not every witness is a nobody:UFO quotes by Astronauts & Cosmonauts

"At no time, when the astronauts were in space were they alone: there was a constant surveillance by UFOs." ~ Astronaut Scott Carpenter - Carpenter photographed a UFO while in orbit on
May 24, 1962. NASA still has not released the photograph to the public.

There are many more quotes like this.

Not aliens, though. It was the USS Enterprise monitoring us from the future in a warped parallel universe that is on Daylight Savings time when we are not.

"SpockBonesScotty... look at... what they are doing now."

"Damn it, Jim. Take us out of here. If they see us, they may get spaced out and rip a hole in our continuum."

"I must agree with the doctor, Jim. Humans are innately paranoid and may resort to violence. But, before we fuck off outta here, may I suggest we beam up that ignorant little prick causing all the trouble and shove a probe up his ass?"

"Spock.... a Probe?... you mean... a Ford?"

Have you driven a new Ford lately?

I would really like to believe in ET's and UFO's. But everyone seems to quote dead people, anonymous sorces, and talk about evidence that has never been released. So I'm still waiting for some sort of proof - and an eyewitness that has a family tree with some branches to it.

Time wasting bullshit to the 97th power.............

I think it reasonable to believe that somewhere out there is a life form of some sort, possibly millions of them. For all I know we may have already encountered each other but if it were not a carbon based life form than we probably didn't (or don't) recognize it and it may not recognize us! Maybe we're the ONLY life form that is carbon based. Watching the above though, I gotta' tell you the word "Accumpucky" keeps coming to mind.

When a visitor from another part of the universe shows up for an interview on CNN, a takeover and reforming of the Democratic Party, bearing a grenade to place in Dubya's ass, or for some other project, worthwhile or not.......let me know. No expert testimony from reliable sources please!!! I am the only reliable source on this one, the only one I'll believe.

Until then, I have about ten thousand more important pieces of my world to try and hold together for those few more years I have left.

Wesley, they're people who used to have sensitive, and in some cases high level positions in the US military and the US government. Some of them were considered credible enough when working in the govt or the military that we trusted them with our nuclear weapons. I have no trouble with sane, credible, honest people reporting on experiences. What else IS there to investigate and analyze? All that concerns me is leaping from 'honest & credible' to assuming their experiences reflect external reality.
It is quite possible for credible people to be misled and/or mistaken. This being said, I do not assume they ARE mistaken or confused. I, too, wish to know the truth...but I do NOT want to get my hopes (or fears) up over conflicting evidence.

There are many, many reasons and explanations for being wary of all these UFO reports.....especially the laws of physics, as far as we understand them.

I'll keep reading, watching, and hoping that we do get answers...one way or another...that will be convincing to all.

I dunno how robust hypnosis really is, or how much it invites dub in and creative plasticity in the mind. There's a lot about mutual creation of thought we don't understand. One of the things about this subject, though, is how unconnected sources come up with commonalities and similarities in their descriptions. Ya gotta wonder about that. It's not just obsessive copying of popular press descriptions, I suspect, because there are a lot of cases where these similar threads of description started surfacing before the mass media started hawking them. A similar conundrum runs through Whitley Striber's books. None of what his people insist they experienced is credible, from a pragmatic viewpoint like Ole Gnu's, but how the hell do they come up with such similar descriptions from people who have never talked about their "experiences" before? Jungian archetypes? What is UP wid dat?

Anyway the fact that someone has seen an unidentified flying object is not a reflection on their sanity, or necessarily on their perceptions. It just means they're not really good at sorting out visual impressions and analyzing them. Hell, I couldn't tell the difference between a 747 and an L1011 from 20,000 feet away, myself.

For instance, when they say, "we saw a vehicle of non-terrestrial origin that had crash landed in a field, and it had fluid with the viscosity of syrup dripping from it" and "it had alien beings in it and one of them was injured and tried to run away" or when they say, "there were alien beings in the craft and one of the men shot them" or "he told me they have to airbrush the UFOs out of the pictures before they release them to the public". In what way could that be considered a problem with their perceptions?

The biggest argument against all this is that if aliens were anywhere near here (say within a few light years) then we would hear their music long before they got here.

After all if they were to pick up any radio transmissions from The EArth then the first thing they'd hear would be music. Just turn on the radio at random.

Bobert,
This past summer while visiting in Nova Scotia we (my brother in law and a brother.)were looking at a beautiful night sky for satellites. I spotted one and pointed to the area. All of a sudden what looked like from our view point was a complete stop than a 90 degree left turn, then a right turn then puff!! the light went out. I said "What the hell was that?" and my brother responded at the same time "Holy Shit". My brother in law missed the area we were looking at. This took all of about 5-10 seconds.
That is my story and I'm sticking to it. Has bothered me ever since and this was no plane, satellite or shooting star.
I do believe.

Someone needs to explain why none of these amazing things happen when *I* am about...

and also explain why, if ---
"we saw a vehicle of non-terrestrial origin that had crash landed in a field, and it had fluid with the viscosity of syrup dripping from it" and "it had alien beings in it and one of them was injured and tried to run away" or when they say, "there were alien beings in the craft and one of the men shot them"
--- we don't HAVE broken saucers or little bodies.
You can't hide all evidence for 40-50-60 years, if this many people have seen it.

I repeat: lots of reports from honest people do not constitute the sort of proof required.

I still have not read a GOOD explanation of WHY 'they' (whoever 'they' are)would hide all the evidence, if it does exist.
(yes, *I* can write scripts about 'national security' and 'evaluating amazing alien technology', but c'mon IF this all exists, there must be many who know the truth and the details, and we must be about into the 3rd generation of folks to whom the 'truth' has been transmitted....where ARE these guys?)

And all this skepticism is from a guy who WANTS to believe.

You should watch the videos, Bill. There's plenty of explanations for the motives behind keeping things a secret.

IF this all exists, there must be many who know the truth and the details, and we must be about into the 3rd generation of folks to whom the 'truth' has been transmitted....where ARE these guys?)

Some of them are in the videos. There are several hundred who have come forward and given testimonies. A lot of people are afraid to come forward, and there is a lot of explanation in the videos about why people would be afraid to come forward.

Subject: RE: BS: What do you think about this?

Upon reflection, Bill, it seems to me that your argumentation is rather circular. You are saying you can't believe the testimonies of government and military witnesses who have come forward because if what they are saying is true, then government and military people would come forward with witness testimonies, and you ask, "where are these guys?". This is not a logical argument, and the answer to your question is "these guys" have come forward. They are the ones you say you cannot believe.

A fine point, perhaps, but it is worth pointing out that if "we saw a vehicle of non-terrestrial origin", then it wasn't actually an Unidentified Flying Object, owing to the fact that it's nature and origin had been determined.

For those who can't watch the videos, one of the interesting things some of the witnesses are saying is that there is a long-standing plan (communicated to one of the witnesses in the 1970s by Wernher von Braun, and testified to by other witnesses) to have a false flag operation that will be designed to make it look like extraterrestrial beings are attacking earth, and that this would be used to justify the weaponization of space.

One especially interesting testimony is by the woman who was told about the false flag operation by von Braun. She said, in May of 2001 (four or five months before 9/11), that von Braun told her in the 1970s, that there would be a series of 'bad guys' that the security and defense establishments in the US would need to wage more or less permanent war on. The first was the 'Evil Empire' (Soviet Union - already the bad guy at that time), then 'global terrorists', then 'rogue nations', then asteroids, and then space aliens.

I think it was George Orwell who said this would happen--though it wasn't so much a prediction as an observation. It is a standard ploy that rulers have used since the year one--

I watched these guys when this first was news--and, though you won't find a firmer advocate for Intelligent Life in the Universe, I don't trust them. Strangely enough, since this would seem to be a big bonanza for my side, I don't buy their stories. Maybe it's just the weird body language--but I think that they aren't what they seem to be. Maybe I 'm a wacko, but it doesn't mean I believe every other wacko that comes down the pike.

Seriously, when I listen to earnest recitations of these encounters, I figger I am missing out on one of the great mysteries of earthian existence. Dunno what to do about it, as the buggers don't come on any old wishful thouught, you know, and I don't have their telepathy code book or a Mental Enigma device.

So I am left with just listening attentively and hoping (as several above have done) to see some more incontrovertible evidence, such as shards of super-metal, or a GRay in a bottle, or some such.

In case I wasn't totally clear, I was asking 'where are the guys who are hiding the evidence'. Who, precisely, in the Govt., knows some amazing truth, but won't tell us?

"Coming forward" by those with claims about sightings or encounters makes little difference if they don't bring solid evidence with them, so *I* can see it, and be amazed.

I still maintain that I have an 'open mind'...which, by definition, must include being "open" to the possibility that there ARE no aliens..yet...and that, except for occasional views of our experimental craft, it's all false.

As I said, folks, I am a wacko, so I am always looking for the most interesting possibility. In this case, that possibility is that these guys are lying--

Why is that more interesting? Because here is a big group of guys, all with some connection to the Government, who have coordinated a large scale deception--you couldn't call it anything other than a Conspiracy--now who is behind it, and what is it's objective?--(and keep in mind that the existance of technologically superior extra-terrestials is completely unconnected to the truth or falseness of any statements that any earth people make about them)--

Yep, Carol...they feel differently to me, also. I MUST presume they are honest and reasonably sane. It's just that, if no one can demonstrate anything, it makes little difference to ME whether it's all true, false, honest, fake, real....or whatever.

Every day science is learning new things about medicine, our brains, astronomy, genetics...etc...and many of those discoveries have fairly immediate consequences to my life, attitude & well-being. But years & years of UFO claims and investigations have so far made NO difference...nada...zip. They are in the same realm as the 100MPG carburetor and nuclear fusion...claims with little substance.

(and yeah...of course "open mind" includes all possibilities. I just hate it when "open" begins to look like 'gullible')

as a side: this quote from BWL's link:

"The senior counsel for the Senate Appropriations Committee, then headed by Senator Byrd (D-WV) told me directly that upwards of $100 billion per year was going into so-called 'black' projects, including UFO programs, but that with a top-secret clearance and a subpoena power, he could not penetrate the veil of secrecy."

I am aware that much $$$$ is in these 'black' projects...so secret that the president can't find out the details. Now...once, the stealth bomber & fighter were part of this, and of course THOSE projects needed to be kept secret while being developed....but who is to say how much of that money is wasted? For all we know, they are trying to levitate the pyramids with linked dolphin brains! Or just having large 'black' parties with my tax dollars.
Just because they SAY they need the $$$$, doesn't prove that they have worthwhile projects....but if YOU had the ability to get many, many billions a year by just claiming 'top secrecy', would you give it up easily?

Carol,

We can't even get the truth from the present government regarding what really happened on 911,so I don't think we'll be able to have a legitimate response on this issue from congress.

Weaponizing space is reprehensible. If doing so because there is alien hostile life forms out there is the epitomy of arrogance assuming that there is intelligence about what kind of weapons aliens use (if they exist). This would come under the heading of the oxymoron, "Military intelligence".

It is possible that the Air Force is conducting space experiments. I noticed that there was no elaboration or description of the dead aliens that were claimed to be seen. If someone shot one, it would seem that they could be described in more detail.

We don't know what was seen though we can listen with an open mind to these witnesses.
