18 Nov 07 - 01:09 AM (#2196496) Subject: RE: BS: Good news bad news From: JohnInKansas Lest some (who don't read the links) might miss the connection, the plant linked by gargoyle is the one cited in the first link by Donuel. The Wiki page from Stilly includes a link to the same newspaper article. Donuel's link, regretably, does not indicate which part(s) of the plant have been found to be effective against the MRSA bugs. (That would be a bit much to expect from a newsrag report.) It's also a little vague about whether the "kill" demonstrated is for topical application - which would be of use for cleaning a treatment area, or whether it can also be used as an internal medicine for infected patients - which would perhaps be of even greater help.
