From: oldhippie Back in the late 1980s/early 1990s on one of my trips to Scotland I purchased a casette "White Wings" by Alastair McDonald. Never heard any more about him. Anybody know of other recordings, or if he is still singing? |

From: Mrs Banjiman Hello there, Yes, I know Alastair McDonald reasonably well as he goes to the church I used to go to when I was still back home in Glasgow. He is still very much alive and well, singing and playing a bit, but doing a lot of radio work on Saga Radio for example. Funny you should mention "White Wings" as I have the same cassette and listened to it endlessly when I lived in Japan and was homesick for Scotland! The best to you, Mrs B xxx |
