The same song, under the title LEGEND OF JOHN HENRY also appears on the 1994 various-artists compilation CD "The Greatest Stars of Folk Music." You can hear his performance on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E08SwsTZ96w The sound is taken from "The Balladeer" and the "video" is just a composite of still photos. It certainly is an intense--some might say overwrought--performance. Maybe somebody can figure out the chords, etc, from that file. |
