24 Nov 07 - 01:57 PM (#2201430) Subject: RE: Ceilidhs in Manchester From: MikeRebec The Irish Centre on High Lane is under new management as Margaret Fox who has done a sterling job over the years has moved on. Thanks for everything Margaret. It is not closing down. MADCAP the ceilidh band I play with are hosting a ceilidh there (8-12) on Saturday 1st December as a memorial to our ex-member and bagpiper John Snelson who sadly passed away earlier this year. All proceeds will go to St Ann's Hospice who cared for him in his final days. Please feel free to ring me for tickets(£5)/other details. Mike Billington. 01618810936 |
