Someone asked for this recently. I finally got it transcribed, and now I can't find the thread. Blessings, Barbara BEAR
When he came to the river, his feet had froze, When he came to the river, before his eyes the raging flood arose, So Bear just stood there Shaking his head.
The path behind him Was thick with ice The flood before him Could be crossed but would demand a price. So Bear just stood there Watching instead.
His life spun before him All the things he had done But standing by the foaming flood, It was as if he hadn't done a one. So Bear just stood there, shaking his head.
He knew his hunger, He knew his thirst. But to get beyond the river he knew that he would have to cross it first. So Bear stepped forward And entered in.
