02 Dec 07 - 01:58 PM (#2206939) Subject: RE: Nic Jones was a great fiddle player too! From: johnadams I adored Nic's fiddle playing and sat next to him in many a session trying to play like him. His style was deceptively easy and while I was sitting alongside him I could play like that. When I tried it next day.... no chance. I'll probably never really know what it was that made him sound like that as I'll not be able to watch his bowing again. I'll just have to keep listening. |
