These extreme sports follow a pattern - someone will die after slamming into a cliff and falling thousands of feet and his friends will gather at the site on the TV news and say "he died doing what he loves". They always say that. I'll bet the guy who dies isn't thinking "I'm going to die, but I'm doing what I love" in the moment before impact. He's probably thinking "Oh, crap!". |
