They also provide a template by which you can "Scrooge yourself." The Scrooge bit only works for one face at a time, though ~ you can make one, two, three, or four elves. I'm not bothering to post any of the various elf-shows featuring may family and friends. They would not be nearly as amusing to you as those you make of your own selves. (The process of inserting faces from your own digital picutures is incredibly easy.) You can look at Donuel's for the general idea and to get the link for "making your own." |

After the 2-minute-or-so "performance," you'll be presented with options to, among other things, "elf yourself." Assuming that you have any digital photos of yourself and your friends/family on the computer you're currently using, DO IT! (Or, wait till you get home to your own machine where your pix are stored, and then do it.) You will be able to zoom (resize) so each face fits on top of an elf body, and ~ this is something you might miss if not pointed out to you ~ you can also rotate the picture so the face is oriented appropriately. The first face you select will be displayed in the middle of your group. You can use one, two, three, or four faces, and the display will adjust accordingly (no faceless elves to fill out the quartet, just the faces you select.) In addition to real people that you know and love, consider pictures of pets, cartoon characters, iconic photos of celebrities, etc. (I've been thinking to setting up an elf chorus line of, say, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Albert Einstein, and Marilyn Monroe.) Also: consider using four pix of the same kid at different ages... |
