Jerry Go Oil That Car (DT http://mudcat.org/@displaysong.cfm?SongID=3177)

or Thread (http://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=80440)

Sparked the memory of a family sung song, circa MidWestern USA 1920.

Jerry go milk the bull,
For he's only one teat to pull.

That is it...mom would not sing beyond those two lines learned from her brothers.

My guess, after seeing the Mudcat Thread, is a parody.

There is this collection notation but no verses.

Johnny, Go Milk the Bull from Utah State Student Folk Collection

Not in the Rugby Thread either but might be quickly harvested by FB players if lyrics are posted.

I saw ol' Jerry milk a bull,
Fie, man, fie!
I saw ol' Jerry milk a bull,
Who's the fool now?
I saw ol' Jerry milk a bull,
Ev'ry pull a bucket full!
Thou has well drunken and who's the fool now!

Cheerily,
Charley Ignoble
